A valuable community resource...

A well-known landmark at Portpatrick Harbour.

Welcome to the official website of Portpatrick Community Council which we hope will become a valuable community resource.

The aim of this website is to provide information for both residents of, and visitors to, Portpatrick, a wonderful community based in and around the beautiful Scottish harbour village named after Ireland's Patron saint who is believed to have travelled to Ireland from here.

We hope you enjoy your visit to this site and, if you are not local, will come and visit us here in Portpatrick very soon.

Anyone wishing to attend Community Council meetings is more than welcome to do so (see information at the foot of this page). Of course, you can also keep up to date about the issues discussed at Community Council meetings on this site. Minutes of meetings, agendas and planning applications will all be posted here.

If you would like to contact a community council member, please see our 'Council members' page for details.

Meetings are held on the 1st Tuesday of each month (except August) at 6.45pm in Portpatrick Village Hall . Members of the public are welcome to attend.
